The shock from Friday’s defeat was still evident in CSKA Moscow‘s members during Saturday’s practice. We met with Milos Teodosic there, who was quite calm, but in those cases what else you can do? Life goes on, no matter what. And it’s not polite to make question that put the knife even deeper.

What we could understand after our quick chat with him is that Teodosic, despite his three missed attempts to win the Euroleague, three with CSKA Moscow and one with Olympiacos in 2010 (2 missed finals and 2 missed semifinals), he doesn’t give up, he thinks he is still young – 27 years old – and he will get more shots at the title.

So we asked him to create his own Top-5 of Euroleague guards, starting with the 2009-10 when he was the season MVP as a member of Olympiacos. “You mean combo guard, point guard, or guards in general”, he asked and we decided to go with the general definition of a guard.

He got some minutes to think about and then he announced his choice: “They are Vasilis Spanoulis, Juan Carlos Navarro, Sergio Llull, Sergio Rodriguez and I will also pick Acie Law”.

Someone was missing from the list… “You don’t consider yourself a part of the best five”, we asked? “No”, it was his instant answer…
