Without using Zoran Dragic who stayed on the bench after his deal with the Suns, Unicaja Malaga got the 82-69 win over Olympiacos and the Spaniards will play in the final of “Gloria Cup”.

After a close first half, in which Unicaja was leading 44-40 the game was almost decided in the third quarter with a 22-14 partial score for the Spaniards. So, Malaga got the 66-54 advantage after 30 minutes with Caleb Green scoring 14 points in the this period. Dragic was one of the main subjects of talk after the game with coach Joan Plaza saying: “Dragic grew up with this team last season, but his future is not depended on me. I am just waiting to see what will happen. Still it was a honor working with him. If he stays, we can match any team in Europe. If he leaves, then we will have to replace him as soon as possible”. Green had 17 points in total, Jayson Granger scored 20 and Matt Lojeski had 18 points for Olympiacos with Vasilis Spanoulis adding 10 points and 9 assists.
