This is the third time that Simas Jasaitis will play for Lietuvos Rytas, as he played there for five years during the period 2001-06 and also in 2010-2011. The 32-year-old Lithuanian guard was unemployed after his departure from Lokomotiv Kuban last summer.
Jasaitis moved to the team of his hometown and will be registered also for the Last 32 of the Eurocup. This will be his fifth season in the Eurocup. He played also six seasons in the Euroleague.
