This season there aren’t many point guards who distinguish so far with their performance. Only Taylor Rochestie and Milos Teodosic do that constantly and we will trust them. Moreover, we risk by buying in the fantasy challenge Esteban Batista instead of Boban Marjanovic.
In the fantasy challenge after the regular season everything is matter of predicting because if you have enough credits you can buy many expensive players. All this time we had in our team Boban Marjanovic who was the MVP in the regular season. He’s by far the most expensive player but in the Top 16 everything will be different. Every teams focuses on him, the opponents are harder and especially against Maccabi is expected that the Serbian giant will not make ranking more than 20. So, we will sell him and we will invest on the best point guards who are in the market. We will sell both Carlos Arroyo and Sergio Llull because they are not steady.
We have 222,6 credits available because last week we had 11,9 credits unspent. Last week the duo of Taylor Rochestie and Milos Teodosic were doubtful. In contrary they were excellent. Niznhy hosts Fenerbahce and the American point guard will score and pass a lot again because the defense of the Turkish team in the perimeter is not so “famous” for its performance. Milos Teodosic had brilliant numbers in the regular season and as soon as he’s healthy he can come with ranking more than 20.
In the front line we will risk by picking Esteban Batista. The center of Panathinaikos had some upside downs during the last month but in Barcelona is sure that Ivanovic will try to feed him a lot. As we saw in the regular season, Pascual will try to defend him one-on-one and we think that Batista can make a ranking around 15.
In the point guard position, we suggest you also Marcelinho Huertas and Sergio Rodriguez who are cheap and are going to get better and better during the Top 16. As for the players in the perimeter, we think that Spanoulis, Bjelica and Weems should be base of any team. Apart from them, Anderson is also an excellent choice because he plays a lot and makes many shots. Also, we strongly recommend you again Rudy Fernandez who is cheap and in great shape. Moreover, Tarense Kinsey is still an excellent choice. Something, that stands also for Matt Lojeski because he’s cheap in comparison with his value.
In the front line we keep Eceg, Tomic and Saric who started excellent the Top 16 and are expected to continue like this. Our new addition is Batista but we could also buy players like McLean, Randle and Vorontsevich.
