Transfer day for tall guys was Tuesday for European basketball! Fran Vazquez abandoned Barcelona after six years and probably his last chance to play in the NBA with Orlando Magic after his agreement with Unicaja Malaga. Spanish champions agreed to swap him to Unicaja in order to sign with one of the best talents, Alex Abrines.
Ian Vougioukas signed a two years contract with Unics Kazan, where he will find his friend and teammate in Panathinaikos, Kostas Kaimakoglou, and one more Green, Stratos Perperoglou seems ready to follow them. Also, Partizan added to its roster 21-year old center Djordje Gagic for the next four years. Cantu announced the signing of Pietro Aradori, who left Siena after two years. Finally, Lithuanian national team coach, Kestutis Kemzura, will be also the coach of Polish club Asseco Prokom Gdynia.
