Hello, hola, merhaba, здравствуйте, hallo and γεια σας

After three years on the web, on the day of its “birthday” Eurohoops is taking its next step to a much more complete form. When this project started, our ambition was to connect with all European basketball fans no matter their country, their language or the team they supported.

Now we can do that much more efficiently. Eurohoops has expanded into four more versions, Spanish, Turkish, Russian and German in addition to English and Greek. We hope that you will enjoy our content in your preferred language and we promise that our philosophy and approach to the sport will not change.

The new content additions are forming a new section, called Eurohoops trademarks in which you will find all our new columns about the present and also the past of basketball in Europe. Some of them will be asking your input in comments, which is more than welcomed.

For those who don’t know us yet, we are a group of professional journalists based in Greece with almost 20 years of experience in covering basketball. Our goal is to include in our team reporters from all over Europe with the same passion for the sport. That’s why Stathis Trapezanlidis from Berlin will be closely following the constant growth of basketball in Germany.

We love the game of basketball, we pride ourselves in breaking news and we will continue to provide in depth analysis – with the help of Panos Katsiroumpas magnifying glass – and coverage of games, events and tournaments, posting what you can’t find anywhere else.

We hope that in the near future even more versions of our portal will be added as the spring of basketball throughout Europe, with Euroleague and our coverage of the league being the center, needs to be chronicled and celebrated. We hope to be a part of this celebration and a good read.
