Panathinaikos searched the market of the big guys to replace James Gist but after the wreck of the negotiations with Kenyon Martin, is close to agree terms with Raymar Morgan as superbasket.gr reavealed.

The 26-year old American finished the season with Goettingen with 16, points and 6 rebounds per game. He has european experience, while he played since 2010 in four different teams of Israel (Maccabi Rishon, Ashkelon and Netanya) and Turkey (Karsiyaka).

So, Morgan is expected to be the second American who will be announced by Panathinaikos after DJ Cooper, a little before Tuesday’s transfer deadline in the Greek league.
