Vladimir Micov is expected to be the first official signing of Galatasaray for the upcoming season, as the player has a deal with the Turkish club for a 1+1 contract which will pay his in total 1,3 m. euros.
Micov had advanced negotiations with Real Madrid, however the puzzling situation about coach Pablo Laso’ position, stalled the deal. Olympiacos had contacted the player, but Galatasaray made the best offer and at this point only the details of the contract are left to be finalized.
Micov will replace Markoishvili who left Instanbul in order to sign with CSKA Moscow and that completes an unofficial “trade” between the two clubs.
UPDATE: On Monday night Micov signed his contract with Galatasaray, which will finally pay him 1,6 m. euros for two seasons and more than a month later on the 16th of August, the deal was officially announced.
