Semih Erden is about the wear the jersey of Fenerbahce/ Ulker. According to Eurohoops sources, the Turkish center is ready to sign a two years contract with the team in order to make a fresh start to his career under the guidance of coach Zelimir Obradovic.
The player will get 1,5 m. dollars for the next two seasons, a big pay cut compared to his salary at Anadolu Efes. The contract will include special clauses which will give the ability to the club to terminate it due to disciplinary reasons. It also includes specific financial bonuses which are tied to personal and team goals. Practically it’s a new challenge for the player to perform in the highest possible level and if he can do it, then every side involved to this deal will be benefited.
As Eurohoops had reported this is calculated risk, as Fenerbahce/ Ulker intends to create a solid core of local talent.
