One of the best prospects of his age, 16 years old Rodions Kurucs of VEF Riga is ready to sign with the Spanish powerhouse, Barcelona a long term deal according to sources close to the situation.
Born in 1998, Kurucs (2,04 m.) has made a name for himself in the latest Eurobasket U16 averaging 13.4 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game with the Latvian national team. Barcelona has flirted with him for a while and the two sides are nearing a final agreement, with the Catalans locking him up with a long term contract.
Meanwhile Bosnian club KK Kos after sending Dzanan Musa in Cedevita, may also give Santro Antunovic (16, 205) to same team and also send Rijad Avdic (16, 200) to Alba Berlin.
