Pau Gasol had 18 points, 12 rebounds and 3 blocks, Nikola Mirotic added 16 points, while Jan Vesely and Tomas Satoransky scored 14 points each for the losing side. The hosts had the game under control and now got one more moral boost before the start of the official tournemant.
That been said, this version of Spain due to injuries is the weakest roster of recent years and that may also explicate the decision of the team to avoid playing any of the top Eurobasket contenders during their preparation period.
