The Eurobasket gets under way in just a couple of days, most teams have announced their final rosters and Eurohoops.net searched to find which teams in the Euroleague have the most representatives in the tournament.

The preparation of all the Euroleague teams has begun and the absences because of the EuroBasket are many. Which teams have the most representatives, which teams have players in different national squads and which teams don’t have even one player in the tournament?

Eurohoops.net searched and found that Fenerbahce have the most players in the EuroBasket, more than any other team in the Euroleague. Zeljko Obradovic will be watching eight of his players in the tournament, with just three of them being in the Turkish national team (Mahmutoglu, Hersek and the naturalized Dixon). There are also two Serbs, a Greek, an Italian and a Czech! In total, there are Fenerbahce players in five different national teams.

Lithuania in the last moment got 7 Eurobasket players, after signing today Renaldas Seibutis, as almost hald the Lithuanian national team plays for them. Olympiacos have six players from different countries. Aside from the three Greeks (Spanoulis, Printezis, Mantzaris), the Serb Milutinov, the Italian Hackett and the naturalized Belgian Lojeski will also be competing in the EuroBasket. Real also have six players in the EuroBasket with five of them being Spanish (Rudy, Rodriguez, Llull, Hernangomez) plus the Lithuanian Maciulis.

The two Russian teams, CSKA and Khimki and the Croatian Cedevita and have five representatives in the EuroBasket.
