Finland has almost secured the ticket to Lille and the second round of Eurobasket with an impressive 88-59 win over Bosnia. The “pack of wolves” was impressive from the get go, having the game in total control almost from the start.
Bosnia stayed close, trailing by two points until the 12th minute (21-19), but Finland with a 14-5 run got a 35-24 lead five minutes later and never looked back. The half time score was 41-27, Finland led by more then 30 points in the second half and the game was over a long time before the final buzzer.
Jamar Wilson scored 16 points, Petteri Koponen added 14 points and 6 assists, while all the rest of the team contributed. Elmedin Kikanovic with 13 points and Drasko Albijanic with 14 were the top scorer of Bosnia.
