The last game of Greece in Zagreb was the worst of coach Katsikaris team in the group stage, however it was enough for the 68-65 win against the Netherlands. The Greeks had already secured the top spot, but their win also sealed the ticket of Georgia.

Giannis Antetokoumpo with a double double (11 p., 11 r.) was the player more ready to play than any of his teammates, while Bourousis and Sloukas scored 9 points each. The losing side had the chance to win the game and go the the second round, but like it happened against Croatia, they couldn’t finish the game the right way.

Giannis Bourousis with a big three gave a five points lead to Greece (64-59) one minute before the end. Still with 23 seconds left on the clock, Charlon Kloof made a two points game (64-62), but Sloukas answered with two free trows (66-62) and the game was practically over.
