Tony Parker shatters another record and makes history in yet another big tournament in France’s qualifying game against Turkey yesterday.

The San Antonio Spurs superstar reached 65 participations in the EuroBasket and went up to second place in the history of the tournament, leaving Mihai Nedev behind, with the Romanian having played in 7 EuroBaskets from 1953 until 1965.

Parker has played in every EuroBasket since 2001, but he still can’t surpass – at least in the current tournament – the first in the list, Kresimir Cosic, who has 69 participations, even if France reaches the final. Of course, he could very well do it in 2017, if he keeps playing with the tricolore…
