Italy had announced since the first Eurobasket round that Gigi Datome is out of the tournament and now the question mark for the quarter finals is Andrea Bargnani.
As coach Simone Pianigiani said the press conference: ” I am really proud of my players, we are back in the Top8 of Europe. We didn’t have Andrea Bargnani for a big part of the game and we built the lead without him. He suffered a muscle problem. Tomorrow he will be evaluated and we’ll know if he can play in the quarterfinals”.
