Vassilis Spanoulis announced his decision to retire from the international basketball and the Italian coaches, Sergio Scariolo and Simone Pianigiani showed their respect to him.
Simone Pianigiani commented Vassilis Spanoulis’ retirement from the Greek national team by saying: “Incredible respect to Spanoulis. He’s an idol for me. I love him but doesn’t everybody love him. Many times he killed me in the Euroleague. He’s something special”.
Later, Sergio Scariolo tweeted this
