The total contrast of sentiments after a game decided on the last seconds was obvious as coach Jonas Kazlauskas was once again playful and coach Aleksandar Djordjevic admitted that there’s one think that Serbia should have made different.

As Djordjevic admitted: “Yes I would change one thing. In the end of the game we should have shot a three”. He was reffering to the decision of Bogdan Bogdanovic to run to the basket, which ended with a turnover. Still Serbia can win a medal and that’s a motive: “We have to win the bronze. Maybe we felt as a team that we had to prove something. If we start getting good results for a number of years, maybe we will start feeling in a different way”.

On the contrary coach Kazlauskas was even ready for jokes: “To beat Serbia with 20 turnovers and shooting 2-of-14 from three, is something unbelievable. When we won the medal in the last Eurobasket they said we were lucky, for last year in the FIBA World Cup they said we had an easy schedule. I wonder what they will say now. Almost everyone in Lithuania is watching our games, we have a big sponsor, so we want to make them thrilling and not get our audience bored”.
