Following this week’s double-game action in the EuroLeague and next week’s domestic cups all over Europe, all attention will be on the upcoming Qualification stages for continental tournaments regarding national team basketball.
Germany, scheduled to face Montenegro in Podgorica and Bulgaria in Bamberg, has already announced the preliminary 16-man squad for the International appointments in late February.
Several EuroLeague players have been called up by Alex Mumbru, who will decide on the final cuts and ultimate 12-man official roster only before the training camp scheduled for 17 February.

Partizan’s Isaac Bonga, Bayern Munich’s Andreas Obst, Oscar Da Silva, Justus Hollatz, Ivan Kharchenkov, Johannes Voigtmann, and Nick Weiler-Babb made the team. But they weren’t alone.
Joining David Kramer, Johannes Thiemann, Tibor Pleiss, and Nelson Weidemann, ALBA Berlin’s Louis Olinde, Malte Delow, Tim Schneider, Jonas Mattiseck, and Paris Basketball’s Leon Kratzer also made the team.
To avoid any bad surprises, the 2022 EuroBasket bronze medalists should win both games and try to make their way back to the European competition. At the moment, they’re second in Group D at a 2-2 record, joint with Sweden. Montenegro leads at 3-1, while Bulgaria is last at 1-3.
