The Turkish Basketball Federation announced the preliminary roster of the national team ahead of two games for the 2025 EuroBasket Qualifiers that will be held February.
The list is as follows:
Ercan Osmani (Efes), Erkan Yilmaz (Efes), Shane Larkin (Efes), Sehmus Hazer (Bahcesehir), Furkan Haltali (Bahcesehir), Furkan Korkmaz (Bahcesehir), Kenan Sipahi (Bahcesehir), Yigit Arslan (Besiktas), Maxim Mutaf (Bursaspor), Sadik Kabaca (Galatasaray), Muhsin Yasar (Pinar Karsiyaka), Yigitcan Saybir (Tofas Bursa), Emre Melih Tunca (Turk Telekom), Erten Gazi (Dinamo Sassari), Onuralp Bitim (Bayern Munich), Cedi Osman (Panathinaikos).
Turkey, that is 3-1 in Group B and has already qualified for the EuroBasket, will face Italy in Istanbul (20/2) and Iceland in Reykjavík (23/2). Italy has also advanced while Iceland is 2-2, ahead of still winless Hungary. The top three teams of each group secure spots in the EuroBasket.
