Called up for the EuroBasket 2025, Tristan da Silva is set to debut with the senior national team of Germany.
In contrast, Isaiah Hartenstein was ruled out of the upcoming international tournament.
“I’m very sorry that I can’t play for the national team this summer. But now I have to focus on healing my Achilles tendon problems,” said the 27-year-old center of the NBA champions, Oklahoma City Thunder, “I wish the team much success at EuroBasket and will, of course, follow the games.”
The selections made by head coach Alex Mumbru were announced by the German Basketball Federation on Monday.
Among the 16 players in the list, 12 will fit in the final EuroBasket squad.

Following training camp, Germany will compete in Group B of the EuroBasket’s group stage. The schedule features Montenegro, Sweden, Lithuania, Great Britain, and Finland between August 27 and September 3 in Tampere.
The top four seeds from all four groups will advance to the knockout stage, to be played in Riga from September 6 to 14.
