Confirming recent projections, Nikola Jokic will play for Serbia in the EuroBasket 2025.
The selections by head coach Svetislav Pesic, which shaped a 17-player preliminary list for the senior national team, were revealed on Monday.
Notable call-ups include Tristan Vukcevic, selecting Serbia as his international assignment. More NBA options stretch to Nikola Topic debuting at the senior level. Captain Bogdan Bogdanovic and Nikola Jovic are the remaining currently active NBA players.
Furthermore, Stefan Jovic is back after sitting out last summer’s Olympic Games 2024 and Alen Smailagic was nominated to participate in a major international tournament for the first time in his career.
Twelve players will make the final cut to represent their country in the EuroBasket.

Heading to the preliminary round of the EuroBasket, Serbia will meet Estonia, Portugal, Latvia, Czechia, and Turkiye in Riga, between August 27 and September 3. The top four seeds, alongside the respective range from the remaining three groups, will continue in the knockout stage, to be played in the Latvian capital from September 6 to 14.
