Vezenkov pours in 36, Dimitrijevic posts triple-double in EuroBasket pre-qualifiers

Sasha Vezenkov delivered 36 points, nine rebounds and six assists as Bulgaria defeated Romania 103-86 in the second round of the FIBA EuroBasket 2029 Pre-Qualifiers.

The Olympiacos forward shot 13-of-19 from the field, including 4-of-8 from three-point range, finishing with an efficiency rating of 46. Daron Russell led Romania with 22 points and six assists, while Dragos Diculescu added 17 points.

Nenad Dimitrijevic also produced an impressive performance, recording a triple-double in North Macedonia’s 91-59 victory over Austria in Vienna.

Dimitrijevic finished with 15 points, 14 rebounds and 11 assists for an efficiency rating of 30. Moses Wright contributed 12 points and nine rebounds for the visitors.
