The upcoming Eurobasket is near and the teams all around Europe are getting their final shape, or they are one step away from it. So far there are no surprises in the choices of the coaches, even if good players are left out of the tournament.

That’s the case of Kostas Vasileiadis in Greece. Anadolu Efes‘ forward was cut from a roster with many equally good players and also young guard Dimitris Katsivelis was released, leaving the Greek NT with only three guards, Vasilis Spanoulis, Nikos Zisis and Kostas Sloukas.

In Serbia, coach Dusan Ivkovic released Nemanja Dangubic and Luka Mitrovic. The big question however remains if Milos Teodosic will play in the upcoming Eurobasket. The final decision is expected next week, just before the start of the tournament. However, according to Eurohoops sources the possibilities are in favor of Teodosic appearing in the upcoming Eurobasket.

Poland also has its final roster after the decision of German coach Dirk Baurmann to cut Lukasz Wisniewski. The team now consist of Marcin Gortat, Maciej Lampe, Lukasz Koszarek, Krzysztof Szubarga, Przemyslaw Zamojski, Michal Chylinski, Mateusz Ponitka, Thomas Kelati, Adam Waczyński, Michal Ignerski, Przemyslaw Karnowski and Adam Hrycaniuk.
