Finland will try to get the ticket for Eurobasket’s quarterfinals without Hanno Mottola. The 37 years old forward was injured during the game against Greece and on Tuesday it was revealed that due to a tore ligament the tournament is finished for him. As Finland’s coach Henrik Dettmann said to FIBAeurope.com: “Of course we’ve lost one of the key players on our team. Hanno’s game changed of course since five years ago, when he used to play 30 minutes a game, he was now playing 15 minutes a game. But he had been giving us 15 quality minutes, so this is a big loss for us”.

For last Eurobasket’s big surprise, FYROM, the tournament ended with the team missing the second round and captain Pero Antic as he said to his country’s media: “I don’t know about my other teammates, but for me the decision it’s final. That was my last year with the national team”. The 31 years old player will be making his NBA debut with the Atlanta Hawks the upcoming season.
