That was the case in the match between Turkey and Switzerland. With Furkan Korkmaz scoring 12 points and Cedi Osman adding 11, the “12 Giant Men” (as the Turkish national team is nicknamed) prevailed 96 – 67 in Bormio, Italy.
Turkey is hosting Group D and all knockout phases of the EuroBasket. It will Serbia, Russia, Great Britain, Latvia and Belgium in the Group stage.
