Despite leading 51-32 at half-time thanks to 24 points by Luka Donvic, 17 points by Goran Dragic and 16 by naturalized center Anthony Randolph, Slovenia made it a four points game (81-77) with three minutes left.
Richard Howell, the naturalized player of Israel, scored 16 points and Lior Eliyahu added 11 points.
Doncic had also 6 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals and finished the game with 9/13 field goals.
