The games of Romania will be played in Cluj and coach Marcel Tenter picked the following 12 players: Catalin Pretisorm, Octavian Calota-Popa, Andrei Mandache, Nandor Kuti, Radu Paliciuc, Bogdan Nicolescu, Titus Nicoara, Rolland Torok, Alex Olah, Emanuel Cate, Catalin Baciu and of course Vlad Moldoveanu.
The question remains if Romania which during the preparation games beat only Tunisia for a total 1-9 record, can be competitive in the official tournament.
