Deemed necessary medical tests for the 27-year old guard of Olympiacos after he suffered an injury during today’s (1/9) practice of the Greek National Team in Helsinki. He was also taken to a hospital in Helsinki, in order to determine the severity of the problem.
The X-ray on Mantzaris’ finger showed that the player has suffered a bruised ligament on his little finger but he is expected to play with tape/narthex on his finger. The schedule for Greece’s team includes the crucial game vs France, which is scheduled at 16.30 on Saturday. (2/9)
