Serbia might have prevailed once over Italy this summer in the Acropolis Tournament of Athens, yet Djordjevic knows that this is a brand new battle:
“We all know how difficult this match is. We are ready, I think we know the way we have to play with Italy. It must be a good physical fight, with extraordinary concentration.”
Serbia has to watch out for long-range shooting: “They are extremely keen on shooting, with leaders like Belinelli and Datome, who have an NBA experience. They are their biggest advantage.”
Djordjevic also spoke highly of Ettore Messina: “Great respect for Ettore Messina, one of the greatest European coaches.”
