Unicaja Malaga made all the right plays down the stretch.

Unicaja Malaga beat Morabanc Andorra 92 – 88 on the road in a game between the two Spanish teams of Group H of the EuroCup Top 16. This result improved Malaga to 2-1 and sank Andorra to 0-3.

Josh Adams scored a game-high 22 points in 21:19 minutes while Jaime Fernandez contributed 13 points and four assists for Malaga. Carlos Suarez (12 points), Dario Brizuela (12 points) and Alberto Diaz (10 points, six rebounds) also scored in double figures for the winning squad.

Diaz was the one to hit the go-ahead 3-pointer for the 81 – 84 with 2:18 remaining. He then hit 2/2 from the line to make it 83 – 88 with 39 seconds left to play.

Clevin Hannah was Andorra’s top scorer with 21 points. Frantz Massenat had 15 points, David Jelinek 13 and Tyson Perez 11.
