With Virtus Bologna being unable to travel to Turkey, due to the country’s restrictions because of coronavirus, and the 7DAYS EuroCup game against Darussafaka Tekfen being suspended, Belgrade is at this point the front runner to host the contest.
Darussafaka, which is the home side, would prefer the game to be held in a major German city, either in Berlin or Munich, due to the local population of Turkish immigrants. However, the German sports authorities don’t seem to be eager to organize the game.
While nothing is confirmed yet, according to Eurohoops sources, Belgrade is expected to be chosen as the city in which the game will be held. The game will probably be played on Thursday.
