Lokomotiv Kuban’s offense was too much for Monaco.

In a clash between two of the best defensive teams in EuroCup, Lokomotiv Kuban outplayed AS Monaco 88 – 72 on the road to improve to 4-1 in Group B.

Kevin Hervey dropped 17 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead Lokomotiv while Jordan Crawford and Will Cummings scored 15 points apiece. Alan Williams registered his third straight EuroCup double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds, Mindaugas Kuzminskas had 11 points plus six rebounds and Andrei Martiuk scored 11.

The trio of Marcos Knight (17 points), Dee Bost (16 points) and Mathias Lessort (16 points) stood out from Monaco that trailed in most of the game and saw Loko even leading by 26, 58 – 84 down the stretch.

On Tuesday (26/10), Group B leader Virtus Bologna extended its undefeated streak with an away win over Antwerp Giants while Andorra beat Lietkabelis.
