Monaco and Boulogne grabbed respective victories to stay undefeated two rounds into the Top 16 while Cedevita Olimpija got its first win against Buducnost

AS Monaco used a strong second-half comeback to top Unicaja Malaga 90-71 in Round 2 of the 7DAYS EuroCup Top 16. The French team grabbed its second consecutive victory against one of the big favorites of Group E.

Rob Gray erupted once again, adding a game-high with 24 points, while Matthias Lessort tapped 20 points and 9 rebounds. Dee Bost left the court with 15 points, while he handed 8 of Monaco’s total 13 assists.

On the other end of the court, Deon Thompson led the Spanish side (that now slipped to 0-2) with 20 points and 8 rebounds.

Boulogne Metropolitans 92 grabbed its second victory into the Top 16 after beating Partizan 79-62 at home. David Michineau paced the efforts of the French team with 16 points and 4 assists, Miralem Halilovic tapped 15 points and Maxime Roos had 13. The Serbian team had Codi Miller-McIntyre and Rade Zagorac scoring 14 points each as they fall to a 1-1 record.

Cedevita Olimpija bounced back to grab its first victory in the Top 16 round against Buducnost Voli (1-1) 74-71 at home. Edo Muric and Kendrick Perry paced the winning side with 16 points, Jarrod Jones tapped 14 points and Jaka Blazic added 10.

Willie Reed and Amadeo Della Valle led all Buducnost scorers with 11 points each, as Justin Cobbs and Luka Mitrovic added 10 points apiece.
