Gran Canaria and Bursaspor bring in young talent to their rosters

The teams have been preparing for the upcoming 7DAYS EuroCup campaign, and that also includes adding young talent to the squads. Such is the case with Gran Canaria which has kept Javier Lopez among its ranks.

The 22-year-old was playing for the club’s B squad but has also made limited appearances for the A-team. He will be upgraded permanently to the main squad next season.

Meanwhile, Frutti Extra Bursaspor also added a player to their roster with the young center Tarik Sezgun who arrived from Anadolu Efes.

Frutti Extra Bursaspor singed young center Tarik Sezgun to a four-year deal, the club announced on Wednesday. Sezgun (2.08 meters, 20 years old) arrives from the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague champions Anadolu Efes Istanbul, a team where he grew up. He appeared in four games with limited minutes for Efes in the Turkish League last season, while playing most of the season with Istanbul Basket of the Turkish second division where he posted 10.8 points, 6.1 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.0 blocks. Sezgun is a member of the Turkish national team, and is now set to make his 7DAYS EuroCup debut.
