Ratiopharm Ulm announced the addition of guard Semaj Christon. The 28-year-old American player will be returning to EuroCup where he previously had a standout (17.6 points, 8.0 assists) run with Limoges in 2019-2020.
“We really like Semaj with his intense defense and his explosive drive to the basket,” Ulm Sports Director Thorsten Leibenath said per the club. “He’s able to lead our team, organize the game and set his teammates. He also has the right attitude to use his impressive athleticism on both ends of the court.”
Christon spent 2020-21 in Turkey with Tofas Bursa. He had 8.1 points, 5.1 assists and 2.5 rebounds in the Basketball Champions League, plus 12.4 points and 3.9 assists in the Turkish BSL League.
After his stint with Tofas, Christon played in the NBA Summer League with the Denver Nuggets.
