After leaving Dinamo Sassari, Chinanu Onuaku comes back to Israel and he’s announced as the latest Hapoel Tel Aviv addition.

The 26-year-old center already played in the Winner League, where he was awarded as the 2021-22 MVP with Bnei Herzliya.

The former Houston Rockets center, who will play in the 7DAYS EuroCup for the first time in his career, he’s coming off a great start of the season with the Italian team in the Basketball Champions League.

Before leaving the Sardinians, which replaced him with Deshawn Stephens, the Louisville Cardinals product was averaging 18 points, 9.3 rebounds, and 4.7 assists in the first three games of the 2022-23 BCL.

Hapoel Tel Aviv started the 7DAYS EuroCup Regular Season on a high note, being on a 3-1 record to begin the European campaign, and Chinanu Onuaku will help them be even more competitive.
