After trailing for 33 minutes and being down even by 14 points, Turk Telekom used a 12-0 run in the fourth period to beat Ratiopharm Ulm 86 – 76 at home and advance to the EuroCup semifinals for the first time in club history.

Ulm was ahead 55-63 with seven minutes to play and then Turk Telekom scored 12 unanswered points to take a 67 – 63 advantage courtesy of a 3-pointer by Axel Bouteille. The French swingman also drained a triple to put the hosts up 73 – 67 with 1:31 to play and then Tyrique Jones stole the ball and scored for the 75 – 67, pretty much securing his team’s win and qualification. Ulm fought during the last minute but didn’t manage to approach by a shooting distance.

Jones had 20 points plus five rebounds of his own while Bouteille finished with 18 points and six boards of his own. Jerian Grant scored 20, dished out seven assists and won 13 (!) fouls from Ulm players. He made 12-14 from the line.

Yago dos Santos (20 points on 6-7 triples, six assists), Bruno Caboclo (20 points, 10 rebounds) and Juan Nunez (16 points) scored in double figures from Ulm. The German side started the game hot to take a 5-19 early advantage but the hosts came back to cut that deficit to 34-35 a bit before halftime.

Ulm once again was the boss after the break and went up 46 – 57 at the end of the third period. Turk Telekom stayed behind the score until their dominant stretch in the fourth quarter that handed them the win.
