After losing at home in Round 8 against Besiktas, Paris Basketball bounced back last week in Slovenia by getting an impressive win against Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana. In Round 10, they kept rolling by dismantling BC Wolves once again on the road, getting the 110-79 victory.

The backcourt duo composed of TJ Shorts and Nadir Hifi provided another important chemistry performance, scoring 24 points each. The former Telekom Baskets Bonn superstar finished with a double-double by adding 11 assists, while the French guard shot 6/9 from deep.

In Group A, there was another showdown between two exciting teams, and Joventut Badalona brought it home with an 85-81 away win in Turkey, surviving Besiktas’ comeback in the fourth quarter and getting to five victories in this season.

Andres Feliz continues providing great games for the Catalan side, ending with 21 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists. Jonah Mathews and Derek Needham combined for 50 points on the black-and-white side but weren’t enough for Dusan Alimpijevic’s team, which is now 4th with a 6-4 record.

Hapoel Tel Aviv could also celebrate in Round 10, going up 7-2 with the 95-80 win in Slovenia. With five players in double-digits, J’Covan Brown is the one who took the spotlight with an all-around game of 8 points, 4 rebounds, and 9 assists over Cedevita, who said goodbye to Klemen Prepelic today. The shooting guard is now expected to join Galatasaray.

Gran Canaria stays unbeaten in Group B

Ten out of ten. The reigning EuroCup champions, who decided to stay in the competition without making the jump to the higher level in the EuroLeague, extended their perfect winning streak by beating Arīs Thessalonikīs with a devastating 28-point margin (93-65) at home.

In what came out mainly as a team effort by Jaka Lakovic’s side, Roko Prkacin was particularly effective with 13 points (7/9 at the line), 8 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, and 6 fouls drawn. On the Greek yellow side, Vassilis Toliopoulos ended with a losing effort of 18 points.

The first game of the day in Group B saw Buducnost VOLI getting the tight 83-81 victory in Lithuania over 7bet-Lietkabelis. The former Dallas Mavericks guard Yogi Ferrell, who recently joined the Montenegrin side, scored 14 points, while Marvin Jones had 18 points and 6 rebounds.

Traveling to the hostile Italian court, Anton Gavel’s ratiopharm Ulm still managed to get the upper hand over a surprising Dolomiti Energia Trento, beating Paolo Galbiati’s team 85-83 despite Kamarr Baldwin’s 18 points and 6 assists to keep his team afloat.

The reigning German league champions were dragged once again by the unstoppable force Trevion Williams, who had another monster double-double of 15 points and 16 rebounds, dominating at the rim. LJ Figueroa added 20 points with 7/8 from two and 6/6 at the line to contribute to his team’s win.
