One day short of a full year since he claimed the EuroCup MVP of the Round honor for the first time in his career. Ondrej Balvin of Prometey Slobozhanske did it again.

The 31-year-old center led his team to an 89-70 rout of Besiktas Emlakjet Istanbul with 17 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 blocks. His performance index rating of 28 was the highest among all players on winning teams in Round 11.

It was also Balvin’s best since he posted a 34 on December 14, 2022, to become Round 8 MVP last season.

The top PIR of Round 11 came from Gabe Olaseni of the London Lions. Last week’s co-MVP tallied 24 points, 9 rebounds and 2 blocks for a PIR of 36 in an 81-83 home loss at the hands of Veolia Hamburg Towers.

Ratiopharm Ulm’s teenage point guard Juan Nunez had one of his best games in the competition with personal bests of 17 points and a PIR of 26 in handing reigning champion Dreamland Gran Canaria its first loss of the season.

McKinley Wright of Buudcnost VOLI Podgorica also had a PIR of 26, though his came in a losing effort against Turk Telekom Ankara. Wright scored 23 points on 8-of-10 two-point shooting in the game.

Rounding out the list of Round 11’s best performers was Christian Mekowulu of Wolves Vilnius with 24. Mekowulu posted 14 points and 11 rebounds in a loss to Hapoel Shlomo Tel Aviv.
