The top two seeds from Group A and Group B of the BKT EuroCup Regular Season advanced directly to the quarterfinals, while the teams from 3rd to 6th place played the eighth-finals to join them.

And now they finally know their opponents for a spot in the semifinals.

After U-BT Cluj-Napoca took down the Wolves to set up a matchup with Valencia, the quarterfinal field was finalized following wins by Turk Telekom Ankara, Cedevita Olimpija, and Dreamland Gran Canaria.

BKT EuroCup Quarterfinals (single game)

  • Hapoel Jerusalem – Gran Canaria
  • Bahcesehir – Cedevita Olimpija
  • Hapoel Tel Aviv – Turk Telekom
  • Valencia – Cluj-Napoca

While Cluj advanced on the road in Vilnius, all other teams that moved on won at home. Turk Telekom Ankara handled Buducnost Voli, Cedevita Olimpija defeated Besiktas Fibabanka, and Gran Canaria eliminated Umana Reyer Venice.

Therefore, Cluj will face Valencia in the quarterfinals as a visitor, Turk Telekom will meet Hapoel Shlomo Tel Aviv, while Cedevita Olimpija will travel to Istanbul for a clash against Bahcesehir. Finally, Gran Canaria will take on Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem, with the Israeli team having home-court advantage in the win-or-go-home matchup.

Interestingly, only Valencia and Cluj faced off in the Regular Season, with Pedro Martinez’s team winning both games against the Romanian side: 108-80 at home and 105-96 on the road.

The quarterfinal matches are set to be played next week, on March 11 and 12.
