Following Gran Canaria’s miraculous comeback victory in Game 2 of this year’s BKT EuroCup Semi-Finals, the series moved back to Istanbul for Game 3.
At the end of a 40-minute hard-fought battle, the Spanish side prevailed 76-72 to grab a ticket for the upcoming EuroCup Final, waiting to discover the opponent: one between Valencia and Hapoel Tel Aviv.
Caleb Homesley (19 points and 4 assists) had some clutch plays, including a late three-pointer to drag his team back to the EuroCup Finals.

Nicolas Brussino (10 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 assists) and Mike Tobey (11 points) also contributed.
Jaleen Smith (22 points and 4 assists) had a solid performance but missed the shot to potentially tie at the end. Sehmus Hazer (12 points and 6 assists) and Tai Odiase (11 points) weren’t enough.
Gran Canaria already won the competition in 2022-23. The Turkish team, instead, had never reached such a stage in their history, participating only in the 2020-21 BKT EuroCup Regular Season before.
