Chris Horton is a newcomer for Umana Reyer Venice, as announced on Monday.

“I am thrilled to be part of Reyer, a club with a great tradition and passion that can be felt from afar. I am enthusiastic and motivated, ready to give my all to contribute to the team’s success. From the first contacts, I felt a strong mutual interest,” said the 30-year-old forward/center, welcoming his move to Venice and return to the BKT EuroCup after playing four games with Hapoel Vegan Friendly Tel Aviv in 2022.

“My personal goals align perfectly with those of the team: we want to win, we want to compete at the highest level. To do so, it will be essential that each of us is willing to fight for the teammate next to him. Strength comes from unity. I am ready to make myself completely available to the group, on and off the court, to build the right chemistry and a solid identity together. I can’t wait to get started,” he added.

Setting up a second straight year in the LBA UnipolSai, the Austin Peay product spent the last two years with Trapani Shark, between the second tier to the top-flight division of Italy. Earlier in his career, he also displayed his talents in Russia, France, Greece, and Hungary.

Fellow EuroCup participant, JL Bourg, welcomed 26-year-old Adam Mokoka on Sunday, after picking up Darius McGhee on Saturday, further strengthening the perimeter for the 2025-26 campaign. Both players inked one-year contracts.
