With 27-year-old Kyle Allman Jr. moving to Turk Telekom, 32-year-old Anthony Brown went the opposite direction and joined Besiktas Gain on Wednesday. Both players are switching teams in the Turkiye Sigorta Basketbol Super Ligi but staying in the BKT EuroCup, heading to the 2025-26 season.
The former Stanford standout and veteran of 41 NBA games, Brown, signed with the team based in Istanbul, after spending the 2024-25 campaign with the Ankara outfit. A total of 52 EuroCup appearances includes 20 with Turk Telekom last season, amounting to 17.8 points per contest.
The Cal State Fullerton product moving to Turk Telekom was announced by his agent on Tuesday. The explosive guard brings in the experience of 42 EuroCup games over the last three seasons, spread between Paris and Besiktas Emlakjet / Fibabanka. Last season, he averaged 10.6 points per game.
Meanwhile, Besiktas officially confirmed 29-year-old Yigit Arslan, 27-year-old Jonah Mathews, 29-year-old Berk Ugurlu, and 30-year-old Conor Morgan are returning for the next season.
Bouteille and Guzman
Buducnost VOLI and U-BT Cluj-Napoca completed moves on Tuesday afternoon.
The team based in Podgorica picked up 30-year-old Axel Bouteille. A veteran of six seasons and 95 games in the second tier of Euroleague Basketball, including 11.1 points per game with Bahcesehir Koleji last season. In the 2022-23 campaign, he was named to the All-EuroCup First Team.
On the Romanian side, 30-year-old Karel Guzman penned a one-year contract extension. The Cuban import has been in Cluj-Napoca since 2020, with 47 EuroCup appearances over the last three years.
