Turk Telekom Ankara keeps on adding new pieces to its roster, with the ultimate official move that features Marko Simonovic transitioning to the team.
With Bahcesehir in the 2024-25 season, the Montenegrin center contributed to reaching the Semi-Finals of the BKT EuroCup against Gran Canaria, coming out on the losing end but averaging 10.3 points.
Overall, during the European campaign, he put up 8.3 points and 3.8 rebounds per game, coming off the bench to substitute Tai Odiase.

Jaleen Smith has made the same move from Bahcesehir to Turk Telekom Ankara, and will meet Marko Simonovic again.
Other players like Kyle Allman, Jordan Usher, Andrejs Grazulis, and Michael Devoe have also been announced by the Turkish side for the upcoming BKT EuroCup season.
Previously a member of Crvena Zvezda and Besiktas, Marko Simonovic represents Montenegro. He’s expected to join the national team at FIBA EuroBasket 2025, where the Balkans will meet Finland, Germany, Lithuania, Great Britain, and Sweden in Group B.
