U-BT Cluj-Napoca has strengthened its frontcourt with the addition of center Nathan Mensah for the 2025–26 season. The Romanian champions are bringing in a player with experience across the NBA, G League, and EuroLeague.

Mensah, a 2.10-meter Ghanaian big man, joins from Maccabi Rapyd Tel Aviv, where he was on the roster late last season but did not see action. Earlier in the year, he made his EuroLeague debut with Olympiacos Piraeus and also played in the G League for the Austin Spurs, averaging 5.3 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 1.9 blocks in 12 games.

The 27-year-old previously spent time in the NBA with the Charlotte Hornets during the 2023–24 season, appearing in 25 games. Known for his shot-blocking and rebounding, Mensah was a two-time Defensive Player of the Year in the Mountain West Conference while at San Diego State.

Ghanaian center is now set to experience playing in Romanian basketball, but also ABA League and BKT EuroCup.
