Moving from the Basketball Champions League to the BKT EuroCup, BAXI Manresa won’t change the head coaching position.
As officially announced by the Spanish side, Diego Ocampo will continue with the team, as he extended his contract until 2028.
Joining the team last summer to replace the departing Pedro Martinez, who will now return to the EuroLeague with Valencia Basket, he’s set to stay for more seasons.
Already managing the team in almost 70 official games between the 2018 Play-Off to regain their rights to the ACB League and the 2024-25 campaign, Diego Ocampo’s story with Manresa won’t stop.
In his first season with Manresa as head coach, he couldn’t bring the team to the ACB Play-Offs as they finished in 10th position; in the Basketball Champions League, instead, they reached the Round of 16, eliminated by Tenerife and Reggiana.
