Set for a sixth season in the BKT EuroCup, Tarik Phillip reunited with the London Lions, the team announced on Wednesday.

The initial spell was between 2022 and 2024, and featured back-to-back BBL titles, a BBL Cup, and a British Championship. His experience in the EuroCup amounts to 64 appearances, including 20 with the Lions. Last season, with Trefl Sopot, he tallied 12.6 points, 6.8 rebounds, 5.5 assists, and 2.2 steals per contest over eight appearances before switching to Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem in November. Beyond the club level with additional stops in Spain, Italy, and Hungary, he represented Great Britain in the Qualifiers of the FIBA World Cup of 2019 and 2023, and EuroBasket of 2022 and 2025.

Elsewhere in the second tier of Euroleague Basketball, Slask Wroclaw secured the services of 22-year-old Jakub Urbaniak for the 2025-26 season, on loan from Dreamland Gran Canaria, both sides confirmed on Wednesday. Last season with the team based in the Canary Islands, the youngster logged three EuroCup appearances. He is returning to his home country of Poland after suiting up for the U20 and U18 national teams and Trefl Sopot.

The next installment of the EuroCup tips off on September 30, launching the Regular Season and an 18-game double-legged round-robin schedule stretching until February. The 20 participating teams were recently drawn into two groups, with two top seeds guaranteeing a ticket to the Quarterfinals and the teams finishing third through sixth in the Eighthfinals.
