Greek club Aris Betsson has officially announced the departure of Serbian head coach Bogdan Karaicic, following a disappointing run of results in both domestic and European competitions.

According to the club, Aris management and General Manager Nikos Zisis met with Karaicic on Tuesday (October 22) to inform him of the decision to terminate their cooperation.

Aris Betsson thanks Bogdan Karaicic for his contribution to the team and wishes him all the best in the continuation of his career,” the statement read.

Karaicic’s tenure ended after Aris suffered its second consecutive EuroCup defeat and fourth straight loss overall, including an 0–3 start in the Greek Stoiximan Basket League.

Following the home loss to Manresa, fans voiced their frustration at the Nick Galis Hall, prompting club officials to convene and ultimately decide to part ways with the 41-year-old Serbian coach.

Zisis personally communicated the decision to Karaicic, while Aris is expected to make further roster adjustments or additions in the near future.
