Nine months from his departure, 33-year-old Angel Nunez reunited with Slask Wroclaw. He signed a contract for the remainder of the 2025-26 season, the team announced on Thursday.

The Dominican winger will debut in the BKT EuroCup, meeting the team coached by Ainars Bagatskis at 3-4 in Group A of the Regular Season. A 3-3 domestic record is tied for seventh on the Orlen Basket Liga Regular Season standings, with Legia Warszawa in the lead behind a 6-0 start.

Nunez, a regular with the senior national team of the Dominican Republic over recent years, carries European club continental experience behind five Basketball Champions League appearances with Slask in the 2024-25 installment and four FIBA Europe Cup appearances with Keravnos early in his 2023-24 journey, before launching his first spell with the Wroclaw outfit.

Limited to 0-7 in Group A, three games away from the Polish side and four other teams tied the bottom end of the seeds leading beyond the Regular Season of Euroleague Basketball’s second-tier league, and 0-6 in Germany’s easyCredit BBL Regular Season, Veolia Towers Hamburg announced the addition of 27-year-old Devon Daniels for the rest of the season on Wednesday.

Upon the completion of the EuroCup Regular Season, the top two teams from both groups will advance directly to the Quarterfinals, with the next four getting a spot in the Eighthfinals. The 18-game double-legged round-robin schedules will be followed by single-elimination contests in the next two stages, and a best-of-three format in the Semifinals and Finals.
